Face Mask Exemption

The British Medical Association has advised GP Practices that the most recent Government guidance suggests there is no requirement for evidence for exemption. It should be sufficient for patients to declare that they are eligible for an exemption directly with the person questioning them (eg. the bus driver).  For the latest information please visit www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers

Pendeen Surgery is therefore not required to provide letters of support for those who fall under the list of exemptions, or to those who do not fall under the list of exemptions.

Some transport providers are providing evidence of exemptions themselves, see examples provided by First Bus and Arriva.
