Our Appointment System

Routine Appointments

We run a system based on minuted appointment slots. We believe that an appointment type system enables busy patients to plan their day in advance and reduces the waiting time inherent in a “drop-in” system.

Please telephone 01989 763535, select the appointments option and let the receptionist know who you would like to speak to and a provide brief description of your symptoms.  All our receptionists are fully trained in care navigation and will refer you to the most appropriate clinician and/or service.

Urgent Care Team

If you feel that you have a medical problem that requires urgent assessment you will be referred to the Urgent CareTeam. The team consists of a Duty Doctor, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a Primary Care Practitioner. The team work together to assess your problem and organise a pathway of care that is the most appropriate for you.

Please telephone the surgery on 01989 763535 as early as possible, and state that you need to be seen urgently. The reception staff will ask a few questions to help assess your condition. You will then be offered either a telephone appointment or asked to come in to the Urgent Care Team Clinic.
