When We Are Closed
In common with all Herefordshire surgeries our telephone line closes at 6.00pm Monday to Friday, and is closed on weekends and Public Holidays. During these “Out of Hours” times you can get advice from NHS 111 by dialing 111 or by visiting their website
Patients with minor injuries can attend Ross Community Hospital Minor Injuries Unit (MIU). It is advisable to phone the MIU on 01989 562100 to check they are open as their staff are often posted to Hereford County Hospital at busy times.
There are also MIUs based at Ledbury Community Health & Care Centre, Market Street, Ledbury, HR8 2AQ (Telephone 01531 637600), and the Dilke Memorial Hospital, Speech House Road, Cinderford, Gloucestershire, GL14 3HX (Telephone 0300 421 8640).
For more serious injuries you should go to the Accident and Emergency Department at Hereford County Hospital, Union Walk, Hereford, HR1 2ER (Telehpone 01432 355 444).
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
